Cate Rauschenberger

HOMETOWN: Alpharetta, GA
YEAR IN SCHOOL: Second Year
MAJOR: International Business and Romance Languages (Spanish and French)
DANCE EXPERIENCE: She's danced like no one's watching for years, but I started doing ballroom at the beginning of freshman year. Through swing nights, salsa nights, Sunday night lessons and Friday Night Dances, I developed a pretty serious addiction from which I have yet to recover. I was in the Apprentice Group in the spring of '07.
FAVORITE DANCE(S): It is constantly changing and is usually determined by how I feel at the time and who I'm dancing with... but anything that is filled with expression and emotion makes me really happy. A few that never seem to fail me are salsa, any kind of swing, and tango.
MORE ABOUT ME: I love music. I have played the violin for 7 years and am now attempting to teach myself guitar, but what I love most is listening to and feeling the music. I sing in the shower, I run in the rain, and I'll play frisbee in pretty much any kind of weather. I keep myself pretty busy, but when time allows, I love reading interesting books, making art, and watching good films. I can speak Spanish and am trying to learn French. Keeping the language concentration in mind, I know that I want to travel-that I want to see as much of the world and learn about as many cultures as I can.
I don't know exactly where my life is taking me, but I know God has plans and that everything works out in the end.
